We are a survivor-led organization committed to ending sexual exploitation in Canada.
WE EXIST BECAUSE SLAVERY EXISTS IN CANADA
BridgeNorth’s mission is to restore the inherent dignity and value of sexually exploited women and girls by meeting their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. We help individuals experience freedom from sex trafficking in Canada through survivor-led support, prevention, education, and advocacy.
BridgeNorth offers direct service to women, girls, and families affected by the sex industry. We also seek to advance education and awareness on the issue of sexual exploitation by training both professionals and the public to recognize, respond to, prevent and combat sex trafficking. BridgeNorth is committed to speaking on behalf of the exploited, advocating for them in public and private arenas.
Our work at BridgeNorth primarily focuses on serving women and girls who are caught in the sex industry. We provide holistic care to exploited and trafficked persons through prevention strategies, exit strategies, and safety planning. We help build bridges between resources, systems, leaders, and governments, and the people they exist to serve.
BridgeNorth works with community partners through collaboration and allyship. Our partners are integral to the success of our mission and programs. Join us today.
